The Eiffel Tower has long been a symbol of Paris. I can’t imagine a trip to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower. Many people say that the Eiffel Tower offers a beautiful view of Paris. There is more to Paris than just looking up at the sky. The tower has its own story, from its origins to its recognition as a world historical monument.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris

I will share some important things to enjoy your trip to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The tower is surrounded by the Champs-de-Mars and Trocadero, see the view of the tower from the bottom to the top. Sit on the grass on the climb and people watch and sit and rest after the climb.

It might be tempting to turn up your nose and think, “Look at all those stupid tourists. Standing in line all the time, taking the same picture that’s been taken a thousand times.”The point is, certain places are popular for a reason. There are some places, no matter how clichéd it may sound, that are a “must see” when visiting a city. The Eiffel Tower is one of them.

You can buy souvenirs from the hawkers in the area around the tower and you will find a lot to choose from. When you see people with clipboards, avoid them, otherwise they will scam you. Be careful with this.

Be prepared to show all safety precautions when passing through the tower security gate. No sharp objects will be allowed inside.

All that aside, we loved visiting the Eiffel Tower! It’s a magnificent structure that is beautiful to look at day and night, up close and from a distance. Even though this is my second time seeing the tower, it still took my breath away when I first laid eyes on it.

Esplanade

Standing under the Iron Lady’s skirts and looking up can be an extraordinary experience. The four iron tiers are not only impressive in size and scale, but the way they rise up gives you an infinite glimpse of the sky from the space between the wrought ironwork. This is where you can start your journey.

The magnificent view from the top of the Eiffel Tower will leave you speechless! You can see every famous monument – Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur. It was great to go to the Eiffel Tower before going anywhere else because we were able to see and identify the city better.

How long does it take to see the Eiffel Tower?

How long it takes to visit the Eiffel Tower depends on you, but if you are short on time, it will take you 15-25 minutes to get to the second floor using the elevator. This short time is not ideal, so you should remember to buy tickets in line for security. To enjoy visiting the Eiffel Tower, you will need to go up for 80-100 minutes.

Prepare for your trip.

Each person must have their own e-ticket. And it is mandatory to bring an ID card for each member of the group, even children. You can request any type of documentary proof (age, disability, RSA recipient, etc.) for a reduced price ticket.

Check the time on your e-ticket. During this time, you must be in the “ticketed visitors” queue at the bottom of the tower. Allow 15 to 20 minutes for security checks at the entrance before reaching the Esplanade at the bottom of the Eiffel Tower. You will see a green kiosk for elevator access and a blue kiosk for stairs.

Make sure the e-ticket and QR code are completely legible. Any expired or incomplete tickets are invalid. Present your e-ticket in PDF format on your mobile phone and maximize the screen brightness.
